They operate a fleet of vehicles, most of which previously operated with either Trent Buses or Barton, also members of the Wellglade Group. The fleet consists of: 27 Northern Counties Paladins, 10 Optare Excels, 4 Optare Solos and 6 Dennis Darts, previously operated by Trent and Barton. Also in the fleet is 15 Volvo and Leyland Olympians, with various bodyworks. These were previously operated by Lothian, in Edinburgh. Finally, there is one Plaxton Cheetah, 1178, YN06 CYP, previously in the TM travel fleet [2]
Notts+Derby operate a number of contracts for various people around the two counties. One of their largest contracts is with the University of Derby. Notts+Derby operate 3 services linking students with campuses and other key locations in Derby City, on routes 4 and 6 and 'The Five' [3] They operate these routes using Northern Counties Paladins, Optare Solos and Optare Excels in a dedicated blue, white and orange livery. They also operate a number of services to the university's High Peak campus in Buxton [4]
Notts and Derby also operate shuttle buses for Derby College, between their 3 main campuses.
Notts and Derby is the solo operator of Park and Ride services in Derby, operating the D1 service from the Meteor Centre and the 111 'Pride Park and Ride' service from a site next to Pride Park.[5]. Buses are painted in dedicated liverys for these services.
Notts+Derby also operate a number of free bus services to Supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda. Bus 110 is livered for the Tesco contract [6], with bus 117 being livered for the Asda services [7]
Notts+Derby also operate a number of normal services around Derby, such as the 17, 17a, X17 and 73 [8]
Starting from September 2010, Notts+Derby will operate contracts for the newly opened JCB Academy in Rocester, Staffordshire. Cheetah 1178 and Mercedes Sprinter 1019 have been branded for this.
